Dr Jacob completed his medical internship, residency in internal medicine, and his general cardiology fellowship at the University of Kansas in Kansas City VA in 2001, completing his final year of training in interventional cardiology with a private group doing business as Iowa Heart, P.A. at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Today, Dr. Abraham Jacob is a respected cardiologist and a partner of The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, TX. He is also on staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center of Plano, Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton, and Medical Center of Plano. He is also currently on staff at the Dallas VA Medical Center, where he makes a difference in the lives of our Country’s Veterans. Not only is he certified in Age Management Medicine, he has also served as the Medical Director of multiple labs at Baylor Regional Medical Center and Richardson Regional Medical Center. Additionally, he has held the position of Medical Monitor for several National Trials, including working with the Department of Defense.
Shahid Aziz, MD Endocrinology
Dr. Aziz brings advanced and improved ways of treating Diabetes, using non-insulin therapies, insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring. His Practice goal is to provide best care possible for his patients. He is an active member of American Thyroid Association, Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist. He is also Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD), certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, this enables him to interpret bone density scans, diagnose and treat osteoporosis.
Dr. Aziz is married and has 3 children including twins. He enjoys reading, sports and spending time with his family.
